The P.I.C. was established 40 years ago, by our founder Ralph Derek Harper. Ralph designed the infamous ‘P’ insignia that today gives Probians worldwide recognition.

The P.I.C. was created to provide a crossroads of communication, information and services to Probus Clubs and is recognised by worldwide Probus board members and Rotary International as the point of contact in the UK.

For over 30 years we have published a listing of the clubs in a directory format. This has become a valuable tool, assisting with the movement and recruitment of Probians, and establishing new clubs.

Ralph’s daughter Louise now has the responsibility of running the centre and last year published Probus World magazine. The magazine is a platform of communication and information on activity in the world of Probus, not just here in the UK and Ireland, but on a global scale.
